I E-Verify and E-Verify Logos

E-Verify® Logo and Name

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has adopted and is using in commerce the E-Verify trademark (Mark). DHS has registered the Mark with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Use of the Mark, without permission, is unauthorized and in violation of trademark law.

If you would like to be authorized to use the E-Verify® Logo and Name, download the Guidelines and Licensing Agreement (PDF, 54.21 KB). You must meet certain criteria as prescribed in the Guidelines for using the E-Verify® Trademark. Please review the agreement, fill it out and return it to uscis.verlogo@uscis.dhs.gov. Upon receipt and approval of the Licensing Agreement, Department of Homeland Security will furnish the digitized logo files for use on websites and approved printed materials.

For more information on E-Verify® Trademark usage, please e-mail uscis.verlogo@uscis.dhs.gov.

I E-VerifyTM

The DHS E-Verify program highlights employers' commitment to working with DHS to maintain a legal workforce and reduce unauthorized employment.

DHS is making available to current E-Verify enrolled employers an I E-VERIFY seal, which employers can post in a visible place (for example, windows, doors, or bulletin boards) to advertise that they use E-Verify to maintain a legal workforce. Use of the Seal will only be granted after confirmation of the employer's status in the E-Verify program. The use or placement of this Seal will not preclude federal agents from conducting worksite enforcement activities and is not intended to provide a safe harbor for the employers.

The I E-VERIFY seal does not constitute DHS endorsement of any employer's business, goods, services, or policies. Furthermore, use of the Seal does not replace E-Verify program requirements to post both the E-Verify Participation poster and the Right-to-Work poster.

If you would like to be authorized to use the seal, download the Terms of Use for the I E-Verify™ Seal and Agreement (PDF, 56.26 KB). You must meet certain criteria as prescribed in the Terms of Use for the I E-Verify™ Seal. Please review the agreement, fill it out and return it to uscis.verlogo@uscis.dhs.gov. Upon receipt of the agreement and confirmation of the employer's status with the E-Verify program, DHS will furnish the Seal.

For more information on I E-VERIFY Seal usage, please e-mail uscis.verlogo@uscis.dhs.gov.
